Alex Crisp Dining Experience Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. Competition Period:
   The “Alex Crisp Dining Experience” (the “Competition”) begins on Thursday, September 19, 2024, and ends on Wednesday, September 24, 2024, at 11:59 PM AWST (the “Competition Period”).
2. Eligibility:
   To participate, entrants must:
   • Be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
   • Not be employees, staff, or councillors of the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (“RASWA”) or their immediate families.
   • Be residents of Western Australia.
   • Located within 25km of Perth CBD radius.
3. Entry:
   To enter the Competition, participants must:
   • Follow The Perth Royal Show, Perth Royal Food Awards, and Alex Crisp (@alexcrisp__) on Facebook or Instagram, and tag one friend in the comments of the Competition post. This qualifies as one (1) entry.
   • For an additional (1) entry, participants may share the post on their story.
4. Prize Description:

The winner will enjoy an exclusive three-course dining experience in the comfort of their own home, personally crafted by renowned chef Alex Crisp. This unique culinary journey includes:

• Custom Menu Creation: Alex will design a bespoke three-course menu tailored to the winner’s preferences and dietary requirements (if communicated at least two weeks in advance). From appetizers to desserts, each dish will showcase Alex’s creativity and expertise.
• Fresh, High-Quality Ingredients: All ingredients necessary for the meal will be sourced by Alex, ensuring the freshest and finest produce is used to create an exceptional dining experience.
• Expert Preparation and Cooking: Alex will prepare and cook each course on-site, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the artistry of culinary techniques and the passion that goes into each dish.
• Personalized Service: The experience includes serving the meals directly to the guests, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the evening without any hassle.
• Cleanup Included: After the meal, Alex will handle all cleanup, leaving the winner free to enjoy the company of their guests and savor the delightful memories of the evening.
• A Unique Experience for Up to Five Guests: This prize is designed for an intimate gathering, allowing the winner to host up to four friends or family members for a truly memorable culinary experience.

Exclusions:
Please note that while the prize includes all ingredients, serving, and cleanup, it does not cover alcohol or other beverages. The winner is welcome to provide their own drinks to complement the meal.

5. Winner Selection and Notification:
   • The winner will be drawn at random and take place at Claremont Showgrounds, 1 Graylands Road, Claremont WA 6010 on September 25, 2024.
   • By entering, you consent to the publication of your name on our social media, website, and digital platforms if you win. This may include your first and last name, city, and/or state of residence.
   • The winner will be notified via direct message via the official The Perth Royal Show on the social media platform used for entry as soon as possible after the draw.
   • The winner must confirm acceptance of the Prize and confirm eligibility (including age and location) via direct message within three (3) business days of notification.
   • The winner’s name and photograph may be used for promotional purposes across digital and other marketing channels.
6. Unclaimed Prizes:
   • If the winner does not confirm acceptance by the deadline in Clause 5, a redraw will take place to select another winner.
   • The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

7. Liability:
   • By entering, participants accept all liability related to the Prize and the cooking and dining experience at their home.
   • All participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with cooking and dining at their residence.
8. General:
   • These Terms and Conditions are subject to the Claremont Showgrounds Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
   • The Event Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
   • Any disputes arising from the Competition will be governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
9. Prize Validity:
   • The prize is valid until March 31, 2025. The dinner must be scheduled on a date excluding all public holidays.
10. Booking Requirements:
    • The winner must provide at least 14 days’ notice for booking the dinner. Bookings are subject to availability.
11. Booking Cancellations:
    • Any cancellations made 7 days out from booking date will void the prize.
12. Travel Restrictions:
    • The dinner will be provided at the winner’s home within a 25km radius of Perth CBD. Any location outside this area is not eligible.
13. Privacy:
    • By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their names and social media handles for promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested.
14. General Conditions:
    • The organiser reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.
    • By entering, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
15. Limitation of Liability:
    • Alex Crisp is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in this competition or the acceptance of the prize.
