Rural Ambassador

Proudly supported and coordinated by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA), this competition aims to recognise the invaluable contributions of young leaders dedicated to promoting growth and prosperity in rural communities.

With six zones in regional areas: Coastal, Eastern, Mid West, Central, Great Southern, and South West districts, the Rural Ambassador competition encompasses the diverse landscapes and industries that define Western Australia’s regional identity.

Up to 63 agricultural societies across the state participate, providing a platform for young leaders to shine on a regional and state level.

The winner of the Rural Ambassador competition will have the honour of representing Western Australia in the national competition held at an interstate Royal Show the following year. It’s a chance to showcase your leadership skills on a national stage and make a lasting impact on the agricultural community.

Entries are now open and Group/Zone Judging needs to take place prior to 31 August 2024. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a tradition that celebrates the future leaders of rural Western Australia.
