Artist’s Statement:

We rise with the sun. A new day, feeling connection to land, holding a heart of courage and strength. The red Earth are the walked paths of our ancestors. Covered by a veil of injustice. Years of oppression. Forced disconnection and removal from culture and traditions. The strong yellow paths beam bright. For our past is never forgotten, the wisdom still being shared by our elders for our future.
