Artist’s Statement:

The varied facets of Patricia Hines? artistic practice, has developed over a career that has spanned textile design and printmaking, assemblage, painting and ceramics. Hines is the recipient of numerous awards and has exhibited extensively here in Western Australia. Her favourite and most challenging medium is watercolours painting en plein air when possible. As time passes out doors and the light changes, this helps retain both freshness of colour and depth of paint application which can be lost with a studio work.
