Artist’s Statement:

REGENERATION. Earth, Fire, Water, Air. the four elements without which life as we know it could not exist. In Australia where most of our forests are eucalypts require the more extreme combination of these elements starting with FIRE, or more precisely HEAT. Heat is necessary to crack open the eucalyptus seed to enable it to germinate. Fire is also involved in providing other benefits to this complex process of REGENERATION
