Each individual carnival ride has set guidelines of usage that need to be adhered to at all times. Should these guidelines be met by the patrons you can request assistance from carnival operators directly.

At this stage, Yellow Brick Road show bags can only be purchased at the point of sale for show entry tickets. Our ticketing partner is working on adding this functionality. Please contact us at info@raswa.org.au if you wish to be notified when this is available. Alternatively, you can buy them on the day (if in stock).

Our Yellow Brick Road experience will be the biggest and best yet, featuring special stops filled with fun, educational activities, and exclusive collection items. A full list of Yellow Brick Road stops will be released closer to the event.

The experience can take as little as 90 minutes up to 3 hours depending on how quickly you want to finish it. At this point we have 10 stops and 12 activities, all included in the price of $15!

Absolutely! Although the Yellow Brick Road is targeted at ages 6 – 12, everyone from 1 – 100 is welcome to purchase a show bag and join in the adventure.

You must purchase your Yellow Brick Road add-on when you book your ticket online. We have a limited number of places available.

If you forgot to purchase a Yellow Brick Road add-on you can head here to purchase.

Please note: You still must have a ticket to the Perth Royal Show to be able to enter.

History of the Perth Royal Show

Over the week we get more than 300,000 people through our show gates. The long weekend (first 3 days) is the busiest time at the Show, particularly the Public Holiday Monday.

The first official show in Western Australia was held on 7 November 1834 and was known as the Fair and Cattle Show. By 1904 the Society which held the show was assumed the title of “The Royal Agricultural Society became incorporated. In 1905 the show moved to Claremont and more than quadrupled in attendance becoming the State’s biggest annual community event and has been growing ever since.

The Show was not held at various times during World War I & II and not held due to Covid in 2020.
