The Farm 2 Food Pavilion Main Stage at the Perth Royal Show has transformed into a culinary showcase, bringing award-winning Western Australian produce to life through live cooking demonstrations.

Perth influencer and MasterChef Australia Season 16 contestant Alex Crisp has been entertaining audiences with five cooking demonstrations each day – spotlighting the exceptional quality of Perth Royal Food Awards (PRFA) champion produce:

  • Mondo Butchers Italian Porchetta
  • Ryans Quality Meats Stirling Ranges Beef
  • Black Label Berkshire Pork
  • La Delizia Latticini Burrata
  • Gabriel Ghana 65% Dark Chocolate
  • Bannister Downs Dairy Fresh Cream

From 11am to 4pm daily, visitors can watch as Alex brings these local ingredients to life. After each demonstration, the audience can sample her culinary creations and scan a QR code to download the recipe, making it easy to recreate the meals at home.

On Thursday 26 September, Linton Batt will join Alex on stage for the 12pm demonstration as she prepares Thai Pork Meatballs using his champion Black Label Berkshire Pork.

This new activation aims to inspire home cooks with simple, nutritious, and delicious meal ideas that highlight the best of Western Australian produce. With a diverse lineup of dishes and flavours, there’s something for every palate to enjoy.

The PRFA Farm 2 Food Activation is a key part of the Perth Royal Show’s ongoing commitment to showcasing the exceptional quality of Western Australia’s food industry.

Visitors to the Show can also follow a Perth Royal Food Awards trail around the grounds – visit the Feasting Barn, Shopping & Lifestyle Pavilion, Dairy Pavilion and Long Paddock to try the finest food this state has to offer.

We’re also offering a chance to win an amazing PRFA gift hamper full of the state’s finest produce! Entries close Saturday 28 September.
