Freestyle Motocross Thrills Coming to the Perth Royal Show

MEDIA RELEASE | 19 September 2024

Get ready for an action-packed spectacle as Hardwired Entertainment brings its world-class freestyle motocross show (known as FMX) to the Perth Royal Show.

Four world-class athletes, including a rider from New Zealand, will attempt impressive jumps and stunts each night at 6.20pm the Main Arena.

Locally owned and operated by Matt Curtis and Brayden Davies, Hardwired Entertainment is a staple in the Western Australian motocross scene, also showcasing BMX stunts, drift car demos, and Harley Davidson tricks. Brayden, a competitive rider, has travelled the world representing Australia at international events.

The Perth Royal Show performance will promise a spectacle for fans of all ages. Unlike competitive racing, freestyle motocross is all about spectacle.

“Freestyle motocross is designed to entertain everyone, from kids to grandparents,” Brayden explained. The show promises a “wow” factor with death-defying stunts that will leave the audience on the edge of their seats.

“Whether you’re a fan of the sport or new to it, our show is guaranteed to impress.”

Hardwired Entertainment’s mission – Create, Excite, Inspire – guides their performances, encouraging the next generation of riders and sports enthusiasts.

Brayden and Matt are committed to inspiring young riders, showing them that motocross can be more than just a hobby. “We want kids to know that with passion, they can turn their dreams into a career,” he said. “Whether it’s biking or anything else, there’s a way to make it happen.”

The duo are proud to showcase the incredible talent that comes out of Western Australia while also bringing in talent from across Australia and beyond.

“It’s going to be an unforgettable show,” says Matt.
