Lotterywest Inclusive Access Program

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Inclusive Access Program?

The Inclusive Access Program is an initiative funded by Lotterywest for the Perth Royal Show, inviting those who might face barriers to entry due to cultural, accessibility, financial or other reasons, to enjoy the magic of Show.

We welcome non-profit and community support organisations across Western Australia to apply for an allocation of complimentary general entry Show tickets to distribute to their members and clients.

The Inclusive Access Program also provides the opportunity for children and adults with disabilities and special educational needs to experience the Animal Nursery prior to opening (9-10am), thus avoiding busy crowds and offering a more accessible experience.

Who is eligible to apply?

If your organisation provides services in the following categories, then they can apply for free tickets to the Perth Royal Show 2025:

  • Regional Agricultural Societies
  • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Community Groups
  • First Nations Organisations
  • Disability Support Services (including family/children and adult support)
  • Youth, Family, and Women’s Support Services

We do not offer tickets for individuals.

How do I apply to the Inclusive Access Program?

You can request tickets to the Inclusive Access Program through the application form on our website – link. Please note that you will have to provide relevant details about your organisation in line with the Inclusive Access Program.

Applications for tickets must be submitted before Friday 22nd August 2025.

When will I find out if my organisation has received free tickets?

If you have applied for tickets as part of the Inclusive Access Program, we will provide you with an update on the outcome no later than Tuesday 2nd September 2025.

How many tickets will I receive?
  • Due to the high demand for tickets, the number of tickets requested by your organization, may not be the number of tickets allocated to your organization.
  • Your complimentary tickets are valid for both Adults and Children, and form part of your agreement with RASWA.
  •  For example, if your organization gives away tickets to a family consisting of 2 adults and 3 children, you will need to request and issue 5 tickets.
How will I receive the tickets?
  • The tickets will be distributed by Megatix (our ticketing agent) to the email address you supplied. If this is NOT the email you wish to receive the tickets on, please email inclusiveaccessprogram@raswa.org.au with the correct email address by Monday 1st September 2025.
  • Each ticket will appear as one PDF within the email. If you are receiving a large number of tickets – they will be sent over several emails.
How do you decide how many tickets I get?

To ensure fairness and accessibility, tickets will be allocated based on defined eligibility criteria and the number of applications received. The final ticket allocation for each organisation will depend on the overall demand.

How do I distribute the tickets?

Once you have received the tickets you will need to distribute them to your chosen recipients. This will need to be done internally within your organization i.e. via email.

The tickets are not to be reissued via any other ticketing agent i.e., Eventbrite.

They cannot be transferred or offered on social media platforms.

Tickets cannot be resold or issued through any other ticketing agent.

Who needs a ticket?

Everyone!

All attendees, including children aged 0 to 3, will require their own ticket to the show. If you have a carer attending with a family or individual, they will also require a ticket.

What day can I attend the show?

The general admission tickets are any day, one day entry tickets. This means your ticket holders can enter the show any day, once.

The Perth Royal Show runs from Saturday 27th September – Saturday 4th October (10:00am-9:00pm).

In the unlikely event that the show is at capacity*, and you cannot enter, you can return with your ticket on a different day.

*For the safety and comfort of our patrons we limit the number of persons in the Showgrounds at all times. We have cameras at every gate monitoring entry and exits to ensure numbers don’t exceed capacity. *

If I have an Animal Nursery Ticket and can’t attend on my allocated day, can I change it?

The Animal Nursery experience tickets have been allocated on specific days in order to provide the best experience for those visiting.

Please email inclusiveaccessprogam@raswa.org.au if you need to change your allocated day and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request.

If I have an Animal Nursery Ticket, can I visit the rest of the show?

Yes! The Animal Nursery will be open from 09:00am – 10:00am exclusively for Animal Nursery Ticket holders, after 10:00am, tickets holders are welcome to enjoy the rest of what the Perth Royal Show has to offer!

If I’m attending the show as an adult, how many children can I bring with me?
  • For safety reasons, the maximum ratio of children to an adult is 1:4 – one adult to four children. This will be checked by ticketing staff at the gate.
  • Even though the tickets are generic, these ratios still apply to Lotterywest Inclusive Access Program ticket holders.
