Step inside one of the most loved spaces at the Perth Royal Show — the Creative Arts & Cookery Pavilion.

This is where imagination, talent, and tradition come together, with hundreds of dazzling entries on display from passionate creators across Australia.

Discover everything from handcrafted jewellery, calligraphy, and china painting to show-stopping cakes, preserves, and baked goods. Every item has been lovingly made by everyday Australians who put their skills to the test in the Royal Show’s iconic competitions.

And don’t miss the Cosplay Competition, where fans take the stage in incredible costumes, bringing their favourite characters to life with colour, flair, and creativity. It’s a spectacle that always draws a crowd!

The Creative Arts & Cookery Pavilion is full of surprises and inspiration — a true celebration of creativity in WA!

Central to the magic of the Perth Royal Show are the ever-popular Creative Arts and Cookery competitions!
Attracting hundreds of entries from across Australia, these competitions offer the perfect platform to showcase your talents in your favourite craft, including beading, calligraphy, china painting, and more.
 
Last year, we also introduced the Cosplay Competition, a fun chance to show off your creativity and craftsmanship as you bring your favourite character to life.

  • Collection dates:
    • 12:00pm – 4:00pm Sunday 5 October 2025
