Sheep farmers and breeders, step into the spotlight and showcase your finest at the Perth Royal Show Sheep Competition. 

Each year around one thousand sheep take up residence in the Sheep Shearing and Wool Pavilion, ready to be judged on their meat, wool or breeding. 

With all 10 heritage breeds proudly displayed, including Merino, Corriedale, Dorper, White Dorper, and a variety of British Breeds such as Border Leicester, South Suffolk, Suffolk, Shropshire, Wiltshire Horn, Wilti Poll, Poll Dorset, Prime SAMM, Texel, and White Suffolk, there’s a breed for every breeder to showcase their best. 

The All Breeds Stud Ram and Ewe Sale is a vibrant and bustling event, attracting spectators and buyers alike. For many years, farmers have brought their top-quality sheep to the Perth Royal Show, knowing that a sheep with a Royal Show ribbon often fetches a higher price. 

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Don’t forget to check out the shearing demonstrations happening all week and be sure to bring the kids to ‘Luv a Lamb’ for an adorable photo opportunity.
