Agricultural Colleges Competitions

See the next generation of farmers, handlers and agricultural leaders in action.

Students from across WA showcase their skill, teamwork and passion in this exciting two-part agricultural competition. It’s a proud initiative of the Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA) and a true highlight of the Perth Royal Show.

What You’ll See:

While the Farm Skills Competition takes place before the Show, the public is invited to watch the Animal Husbandry leg of the competition live at the Showgrounds. Students compete in individual cattle and sheep handling challenges, judged alongside adult competitors. It’s hands-on, high-energy, and a great way to see the future of WA agriculture in action.

Cheer on local schools, meet tomorrow’s agricultural leaders, and learn about the real-world skills behind WA’s farming industries!

Date and Time: TBA
