Receivables: Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th August 2017 @ the Silver Jubilee Pavilion, Claremont Showground
Judging: Sunday 27th to Wednesday 30th August 2017
Awards Presentation: Thursday 31st August 2017 from 6pm – Venue TBA
Exhibitors Tasting: Friday 1 September 2017 from 9am to 12noon

Competition Information

Exhibitors can enter three entries per Class except for the Fortified Classes. No wine is to be entered into the Show more than once (excluding Wines of Provenance Class).

The Wines of Provenance Classes continue in this year’s wine competition – Dry White Class 21 and Dry Red Class 46 table wines. These classes are to award Australian wines that demonstrate exceptional consistency and intrinsic quality over the years. These wines will be judged together as a group.

The Perth Royal Wine Show is WA’s premier wine competition. Established in 1843 the competition is credited with putting WA on the map as a producer of quality wines.

Educational Scholarship

A new scholarship being established by RASWA as part of its expanding education program will assist two students a year to study a wine related course. More information about this exciting opportunity may be obtained from the Royal Agricultural Society website under the Advanced Wine Judges Scholarship page.

Events
